Not all Ares are created equal
I spend most of my day making websites. I program the code, I design the graphics and I write the text. As are most techno-minded people, I’m an avid file sharer and I use P2P file sharing software – like Ares – on a fairly regular basis. I am pretty confident that I know what I’m doing with it. I tell you this not to boast, but rather to hopefully demonstrate that I know a thing or two about what makes a good website. And I know that OfficialAres.com is a really good website.
Everyone who uses Ares Vista a lot knows that it is essential to take a look at the new versions of Ares Vista – and indeed download Ares Vista – on a regular basis. This is where OfficialAres.com really comes into its own: for anyone looking to download Ares Vista or even find out more information before they even consider going to download Ares Vista, this is the place to read all about it.
The reviews are, for me, the gem of the site; these are reviews that are kept up to date with the various versions of Ares Vista available across the ‘net. Before I download Ares Vista I always check here to make sure that I am in fact getting the right version for my needs.
Not all Ares are created equal
It is almost always the case the free is good. It is also the case, according to the old saying, that nothing in life is free. It would be a leap of logic (and an incorrect one) to surmise from these two statements that nothing in life is good, but that would be trite and misleading. We can state with conviction – conviction borne out by personal experience, I may add – that the free file sharing software Ares Destiny is free, and it is most definitely not good.
Actually, I’ll rephrase that. The software itself is fine. The website from which you download Ares Destiny is fine, too; even the installation is painless. The interface for the sharing software itself is a little complex and dry looking, and it doesn’t do absolutely everything that I would expect from my filesharing software, but there isn’t so much wrong with Ares Destiny that I would write it off purely on it’s blandness. No, there is a much deeper problem.
Ad ware.
Yup, it’s that dreaded word. Ares Destiny comes packaged with the ‘price comparison’ software Dealio. In actual fact Dealio is bona fide ad ware and it is a nightmare to remove from the computer. Why the makers of Ares Destiny decided to package their software with it must remain a mystery.
